Baby Romie :: Sioux Falls Studio :: Posed Newborn Photography

June 27th, 2016

Take a look at these sweet cheeks!  Romie was born at 9 lbs. 6 oz. so you can only imagine her size at 3 weeks when she came to visit me in my studio.  I swear, she had the most squishy body and some “to die for” baby back rolls!!

This girl was a dream to pose and I love that mom selected “feminine” soft pastel colors because all of these elements photographed so beautifully.  Thank you Eisenhauer family for choosing me to capture the “newness” of your baby girl…here are a few of my favorites from our time together. ♥

Ashley Buckley Photography :: Kash :: Sioux Falls Posed Studio Newborn Session

June 17th, 2016

Oooohhh my goodness…would you take a look at these plump lips and highlights?!  I die, seriously!   <3

If you couldn’t already tell, Kash has been born in to a family that loves, loves, loves sports!  Both of his parents played basketball in college and are very well known for their athletic accomplishments.  So, I guess you could say that he has freaky good genes and is destined to do big things, because (remember) his name is, Kash.  It’s so fitting!

I am going back and forth on a favorite from this session…but I seriously cannot decide!  Which one do you like the most?! <3

Sioux Falls Cake Smash :: Evan’s 1st Birthday :: Ashley Buckley Photography

May 20, 2016

One year old cake smash sessions are a lot of fun because each one is totally different.  Some kiddos delicately lick the frosting with a little extra incentive (hidden cheerios always do the trick), while others dive right in!

Evan may have been a little hesitant at first but not long after he went in for a big face first bite and literally smashed the cake!  At the very end he let out a very loud grunt — which may have also been my favorite moment of the night (the third from the bottom picture on the right!).  It was so cute.

Happy birthday sweet Evan!  I have enjoyed seeing you grow throughout your first year  <3

Buckley’s Maternity Slideshow :: Sioux Falls, SD :: Ashley Buckley Photography

May 17th, 2016

Just recently, Chris and Calley welcomed their first son, mr. Chet Buckley….and life will never, ever be the same!  This maternity slideshow instantly carries a whole new sentimental value and will serve as a sweet reminder of the the countless hours spent anticipating the birth of their baby boy.  I can only image what a treasured keepsake this slideshow will become as he grows.

Certain life experiences should never be forgotten and are meant to be passed down from one generation to the next!  Is it an investment to hire a professional photographer to capture your wedding, pregnant tummy, a newborn baby, your child/ren, or your family?  Of course it is!  But what a gift to be able to share a tangible item that contains such much sentimental value.
